It was good to be gone…
…and it’s good to be back!
April was a whirlwind in the best way. I left Wednesday April 5th and didn’t return until Friday April 28th ! I could talk about all we experienced for a while, but I thought I’d highlight a few of the top moments:
-Bellingrath Gardens, Sunliner Diner and Mobile Bay Ferry in Alabama
–Celebrating my Uncle’s 70 th birthday in FL!
-D6 Conference in Orlando (focused on empowering parents in family discipleship!)
-Disney! (Magic Kingdom and Epcot) I finally got to ride the tea cups!
-Meeting up with some ministry friends and making new ones!
-PCA Conference in Brevard NC (Focused on empowering volunteers in kidmin discipleship!)
-Seeing family in 3 states and getting to meet my newest niece – you guys prayed for her parents and her adoption for years! Getting to hold the answers to 10 years of prayer was probably my ultimate trip highlight!!

This trip was a really great time of learning more about discipleship and spending quality time with my family. I am really grateful for the opportunity to spend so much time with my parents; we made a lot of great memories, laughed a lot, and ate some really great food.
Mother’s Day is this Sunday and I hope you’re able to spend some quality time with your family; but, I recognize that this day is not easy for everyone for a variety of reasons. I want you to know that with your church family is a safe place to be, no matter how you are feeling. There are others who feel the same way you do, and we will rejoice or mourn with you. I hope to see you Sunday.
Many Blessings,
Pastor Sarah
