Children's Ministry
Children are not only the church of tomorrow but they are the church of today. At Houston First Church we strive to give our children exciting & fresh programs to participate in.
Power Church
Power Church is for children 4 years old through fourth grade. The children are dismissed following the Sunday morning worship time to an exciting time of lessons and crafts.
Bible Kids Club
Wednesday night is an especially exciting time for children, age 5-12, in our Kids Bible Club. Using the program Bible Skills, Drills, and Thrills our children are learning about God's Word through- music
- games
- crafts
- activities
- service projects
- theme nights
- prayer time
- friendship
Understanding more about the Bible means knowing how to find scriptures and learning the names of the books of the Bible. Truths are demonstrated through group activities and service projects which fucus on going outside the church walls and reaching our neighbors and those in need.
The children earn tickets for bringing their Bible, Sunday School attendance, bringing a friend, and learning the memory verse. Please come and join us!
