How Can We Pray For You?

Rend Your Heart: “Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.” Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity. Who knows? He may turn and relent and leave behind a blessing— grain offerings and drink offerings for the Lord your God. Joel 2: 12-14

I look forward to the first Wednesday of the month – so much that I was so excited about it I was a week earlier last week!

However, it has not always been this way… just a couple short years ago, I would attend prayer meetings but praying out loud in front of the group was just a bit much for me… I was not sure how to “pray” exactly. I still have my moments and am thankful for the grace that is shown when, I loose my words, or my thoughts, or get overwhelmed with emotion.

There is just something so sweet about being able to talk with my Heavenly Father and know that He hears everything I am saying, thinking, and knows my heart. To be totally dependent on Him and have the communication of prayer is so powerful!

I want to encourage you just to come – come join us for a prayer meeting on the first Wednesday of the month or before worship on Sundays starting at 10am! If you are hesitant to start with the group, I’d love to pray with you!

Your Sister In Christ,

Naomi
