Family Discipleship Resources
Family Discipleship – What is that?

Family Discipleship is taking the things we already do in everyday life and incorporating God into those behaviors, making sure our actions line up with His Word. (see Deut 6:4-7) It’s allowing God to shape our everyday family experience to include His ways and His truths.

Discipling children doesn’t require a special degree, a lifetime of biblical knowledge, or even the right answer all the time. Instead, it has everything to do with a willing heart and intentional action. It might seem overwhelming at first. But you are not alone! You can draw help and support from your Community Group and your HFC church family! If you are not sure where to start, email PastorSarah@HFCOG.org today!

Parent Cue!

Cue
/kyoo/ n.
Something serving as a signal to begin a performance.

We’re not an encyclopedia or exhaustive training course on making your kids “turn out”. This blog is a cue. A prompt. Because really, we know you’re already busy doing all you can to invest in your kids and help them on their way to adulthood. But it’s not always easy to stay focused. Our goal is to make it easy for you to remember what’s important. To help you focus on what matters most. To discover parenting along with you, so you know you’re not in this alone. Not all at once. Just little by little. So week by week, we will cue you so you can make the most of the weeks you have with your kids before graduation.
